In the last post, I talked about recording products in StockControl, I am sure you already understood it well. If you have issues, please leave your comments. Now it’s time to move to the next episode.
In this section, I will introduce the manufacturing and bundling process in StockControl system, If you are running a business with this procedure included, then you must read this post.
In StockControl system, there are three concepts you should know:
- Bundle List. What’s a bundle list? Bundle list in StockControl refers to a manufacturing schedule or a bundling plan, You need make a plan for your worker to assemble parts ahead of the production stage. On the plan there is information like expected due on date, quantities to assemble, component parts required etc. After confirmed and approved, you can print the production schedule, and transfer the plan to the leader who are responsible for the manufacturing.
- Material Requisition. Based on the Bundling schedule, the workers or the leaders then can ask the warehouse keeper for the component parts. The warehouse keeper can allocate and provides the required quantity to the worker, and the stock quantity of the components is decreased accordingly.
- Finished Goods. How the finished products are made is not relevant to the business activities in the StockControl system, but Finished Goods must be recorded in the system to reflect that the bundling plan completed and the stock quantity is increased.
Let’s do a step by step tutorial to manufacture some goods in the system.
